I want to ask you a question. Are you a one-man show? Do you do everything in the business now from generating leads from doing the mailers and speaking with sellers? From speaking with buyers? From negotiating deals? From speaking with a title company? Closing agents?

Do you do everything in the business? If you do, You really need to think differently because one of the main things that enable it to grow is to start to delegate and outsource a lot of repetitive tasks you do every day. That is either a low-value task or task that you really hate or you don’t like to do or not good at.   It is important that if you really want to scale and do more volumes is to start to a  higher and delegate and build a team.

That is one of the biggest things that changed my business when I realized that I can’t do everything. I was doing everything.  I had a 9-5 job. I have a family. I was trying to build a real estate business. So I can get out of my 9-5 job. I really need to find a way to do more and so I can grow the business eventually quit my 9-5 job.

The one thing I start is to read. This book is about systems, about building teams, creating processes. It really changed the way I think about the business. It made me realize that it is the only way that can really grow.

That is what I exactly did. I start to higher and delegate and outsource. That is the main thing and helped me make more by doing less. Maybe it is hard for you to believe. Only when I put new people on board to help the virtual assistant, the lead manager, and the acquisition person, that is when I started to grow. I was able to buy my time back.

I want to give you a level of content so you can read about this topic. Hopefully, it can help and make your first move towards building a team.

The first book that I highly recommend is “Traction” by Gino Wickman. It is basically about the EOS system it is Entrepreneur Operating System. In this book, It will teach you to set goals about, creating values for companies, Putting the right people on the right sit,  Managing your company by KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and things like that.

There are a series of books on this topic. You first need to read the “Traction”, “The Rocket Fuel”, “Get a Grip”, “How to be a great Boss” and “What the heck is EOS”?.

The next book that I recommend is “The E Myth”. It has a series of books and this one is for Real estate Investor. This one is from Michael E. Gerber. This just explains the limitation of one man show. Also on how to grow your business by adding team members and outsourcing, delegating and growing your business. That is another great book that I highly recommend.

The last book that I highly recommend is “Work the System” by Sam Carpenter. This is a very very good book about simplifying your business and having a concise process, values, and objectives, putting the right people in the right sits and that will enable you to grow your business.
